Phe\u2019s pov<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She wants to know what happen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How she came to be on our ship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, I don\u2019t know all of that answers,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All I can tell her is how we found her and how she ended up in our cargo room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

flashback<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hadn\u2019t stopped at any planets in almost a month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our water and many other items were in desperate need of replenishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are in range of a medium size planet,\u201d Nol – the ships navigator – announces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDoes it have any life?\u201d Ren inquires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere seems to be signs there was once, but it looks like it is long since abandoned.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAny signs of any toxic gases or any other allergens?\u201d my father – Kiy – enters the bridge and asks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe scans are all clear,\u201d Nol replied whilst reading the screens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kiy tapped his chin as in thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAlright. Nol, give Phem the coordinates,\u201d Kiy said before turning to Phem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPhem, once you’ve received the location, head straight there, no delay.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A while later\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSir, we have arrived at the location,\u201d Phem announced through the ships link system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAlright, I will take a shuttle. Phe, Ty, and Bern, meet me in the port and bring the necessary equipment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, on the planet\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEveryone get your scanners out and keep an eye out for any supplies and anything else of interest.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kiy told the group before we all went our separate ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t understand why this place was abandoned,\u201d I speak to myself, whilst looking around a large abandoned building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hadn\u2019t found anything of interest so far, but Bern announced through our audio link that he had found a large amount of ore fuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My father headed back to the shuttle to call the ship and have a couple more persons and the mining extractor brought down to the planet, so we could get to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both Ty and I continued our separate ways and looked for other supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once Bern had showed my father the location, he was told to oversee the extraction, whilst my father went to check out a large building he was searching before, which was full of documents and plant books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My father knew this kind of stuff interested my mother and sister both, so he gathered up a large amount and had it transferred to the ship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can still remember the happy screams now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometime later and the only interesting things I had found was a lab with some elementary machines – All beyond repair. Not that they are needed – and a few things which looked like some kind of data storage device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Kora will figure these things out,\u2019 I grabbed them and placed them in my storage bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ty found a supply of dried seeds which he took to give to our botany department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was just about to give up and leave the building, when I came across another restricted room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But unlike all the others, it was welded closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I called my father and told him about my discovery and he agreed with me, that there had to be something important in there for them to go to so much trouble to protect it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plus, we were in no rush as the extraction would take another day at least.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCall me back, son, if you need any help,\u201d He tells me through the link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once we finish with the call, I pull out a small multi-tool from my bag and begin to cut through the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It took me a fair amount of time, the door was approximately eight inches thick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018I just hope this wasn\u2019t a big waste of my time,\u2019 I think as I finish the last cut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I press my hand on the door, causing it to fall and finally letting me enter the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I enter the room I slump my shoulder in disappointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll that time,\u201d I growl. \u201cAnd for what?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The room was completely empty except for a large white rectangular shaped box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI have come too far now, just to go and leave without looking even what is inside\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I walk over to the object and notice it had a transparent top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once close enough I peer inside and see the most beautiful creature I have ever seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

End of flashback<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I told her everything I knew, but left out the beautiful part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd there was nothing else in that room except me?\u201d She sounds hopefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I shake my head, \u201cNo, but we did find more data device in the clothes that you were wearing,\u201d I tell her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes and maybe they might contain something. You can help me to get them to work and then you can look. That is only if you want too?\u201d Koya injects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amber gives her a breath-taking smile and nods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThank you, I would love that. Can we go now?\u201d She asks looking at my mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She giggles, but nods. \u201cYes, I don\u2019t see why not,\u201d She says and looks at me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I send her a look and she quickly adds. \u201cBut I think Phe should accompany you just in case.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Koya looks to mother with raised eyebrows, as though saying, \u2018That is a lie,\u2019 but she soon covers it with a knowing smirk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amber looks concerned. \u201cDo not worry. I promise he will be on his best behaviour this time,\u201d Mother adds noticing Amber\u2019s expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd if he doesn\u2019t I\u2019ll protect you,\u201d Koya also adds, with her smirk growing wider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t say anything, but make sure to give my sister a warning look on the way out and an annoyed to my mother, which both only laugh at.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amber\u2019s pov<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am happy to be let out of the room finally. I need to stretch my legs, but I was also hoping for a bit of time away from Phe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t get me wrong, alien or not he is the most handsome, no, sexiest, no, that\u2019s not right either\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only way I can describe him is Godlike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, he is perfect and any woman would love to be with him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the way he makes me feel uncomfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every time I look at him, he is watching me and even when I don\u2019t look, I can still feel his gaze on me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was glad that he had told me the story of finding me and managed to save some, what I guess by the sounds of it, to be USB flash drives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There could be something on one of them to explain me being where I was found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a long shot, but it\u2019s all I have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have just left what I now know is the medical bay and I am now walking with Kora, Phe following close behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hear someone speaking to me, breaking me from my daze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat did you do on your planet before all of this happened?\u201d Koya asks me curiously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI worked for a Bio chem company as a lab tech.\u201d I can tell from her expression that she has no idea what I am talking about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBiochemists study chemical processes and chemical transformations in living organisms, some biochemists study DNAs, proteins and cell parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBiochemists also research how certain chemical reactions happen in cells and tissues and observe and record the effects of products as in food additives and medicines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI basically helped out with that and also fix machines when they broke down. A normal company would have a outside contractor to fix the electronic equipment, but the research we were doing was confidential, so they had all the lab techs take a degree in electronics and the mechanics of the machines and we fixed any broken down equipment,\u201d I explain to her happily, barely taking a pause to breath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Koya stares at me open mouthed. \u201cWow, that\u2019s impressive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes, I agree. But I think we should of probably guess it was something like that, by the way we found you,\u201d Phe adds from behind us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Koya nods her head in agreement. \u201cSo maybe you really will be able to help me with these data devices,\u201d She says excitedly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She grabs my arm and immediately bagan to drag me faster down the corridor and into a room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once inside she stops and looks around as though searching for something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She mumbles something under her breath I can’t hear, before saying out loud, \u201cI think I might have left them on the medical bay or somewhere. I forgot them because of all the excitement. You wait here. I\u2019ll be right back,\u201d She says without looking at me as she exits back out of the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leaving me alone with Phe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Great just what I wanted to avoid.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I stand still waiting for her. Not wanting to do anything that might seem threatening or disrespectful. Phe is a large intimidating man, so it is not hard to tell why I was scared earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hearing footsteps behind me grow closer I suddenly stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want to turn, but am too scared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAre you okay?\u201d The concerned voice asks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slowly I turn to see the unusually soft kind voice came from him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHmm. Yes, I\u2019m okay, thank you. Are you alright?\u201d I ask nervously shuffling me feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He looks at me as though examining my expression. \u201cI\u2019m also okay, but I am afraid I may have unintentionally scared you again,\u201d He sounds worried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I quickly realise I am checking him out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How could a man be so sexy, yet intimidating?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThank you,\u201d A slightly smug, but surprised sounding voice says, snapping my gaze back up to his face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor what sorry?\u201d I ask confused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phe looks at me nervously as he replies, \u201cI said \u2018Thank you.\u2019 But I do not wish to seem intimidating to you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My eyes widened. \u201cDid I say the whole sexy thing out loud?\u201d I half ask thinking out loud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes, was that not your intention?\u201d He asks confused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I guess them kind of accidents don\u2019t normally happen with their race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNot really, but I guess it\u2019s too late now,\u201d I say quietly looking down shyly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am glad you said it. You too are a very \u2018sexy\u2019 woman,\u201d His voice huskier this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My breath catches in my throat and my cheeks heat up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phe brushes the back of his fingers across my now blush filled cheek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAre you sure you are okay? Your cheeks are very red,\u201d He states in concern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHmm, that\u2019s nothing, it just happens sometimes,\u201d I say shyly, but trying to brush it off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhy?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I sigh, but try to explain without saying too much. \u201cWell, it is a response which happens sometimes in certain emotional situations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phe looks to the side, thinking over my words and nodding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Phe\u2019s pov<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Emotional situations?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does that mean? I mean all I said was she is sexy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which I am not entirely sure what it means. It sounds like a good word, so I am pleasantly pleased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She seems surprised, but happy when I called her the same word. But I am hurt that I intimidated her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIs it because I scared you again?\u201d I ask trying to work out the reason for her coloured cheeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She shakes her head, \u201cNo,\u201d She sighs, running her hand through her long blonde locks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, I guess I was just embarrassed,\u201d She admits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEmbarrassed? Why?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t normally get compliments from men, especially not hot men,\u201d She avoids my gaze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am certain these words means she thinks I\u2019m attractive. I love when she said I am hot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat can\u2019t be true!\u201d I state shocked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou are without a doubt the most beautiful woman I have ever seen,\u201d I tell her honestly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her face reddens again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh, I think I understand now,\u201d I brush my fingers across her cheeks blush once more, now understanding when it happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUnderstand what?\u201d She lifts up her face to look at me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLord, you are beautiful, so beautiful and you don\u2019t even know it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was right about the blushing, because her face became a deeper red.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I watch her look to me and away and back again shyly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her mouth opens and closes multiple times, but nothing comes out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am about the speak when I am cut off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I feel a soft tingle as Amber\u2019s lip\u2019s touch mine; before I can react she pulls away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She steps back and slaps her hand across her mouth. \u201cI am so sorry,\u201d She sounds just as surprise as I feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Momentarily shock, I can’t stop myself from smiling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou shouldn\u2019t be,\u201d I say walking closer to the girl I have been lusting after since the moment I saw her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The alien girl who makes me feel complete just by looking at her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My girl, my genetic mate, my one and only\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n
