\u201cWow,\u201d Is all I can say and I look at them in more detail. \u201cAnd both of you\u2026\u201d I turn Phe around and look at his back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He still has his original mating mark, but now it is joined like mine to another. But unlike mine his faded into his cheetah like markings which are now also gold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I look at Lenime and he has the same on his neck and they are joint together, but instead of going down his spine go to has sides where his markings are now gold too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their eyes widen when they notice what I am looking at.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both told me this is another very rare marking indicating the bond of the mates. This is even stronger symbol than our old ones. But they have only heard of several people ever having it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are more than a hour late, which isn\u2019t that bad really.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phe playfully glares at his brother. \u201cI said \u2018ours\u2019 didn\u2019t I?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He smiles, \u201cOh yeah.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buzz<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I look between them. \u201cWhat\u2019s that?\u201d I ask loosely tiding my hair back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phe walks to a console on the wall and presses a button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes?\u201d He answers rather rudely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of his brother\u2019s faces pops up on the screen, I\u2019m not sure which.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhere are you? We are ready to start,\u201d His brother asks lowly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re just coming.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDo you know where Lenime is we can\u2019t find him?\u201d He can\u2019t see us, we are out of shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which I am thankful for because he is now rubbing the palm of his hand over my breast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is pointless stopping him, he will just be back there in a minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phe looks our way and chuckles. \u201cHe is here, Joln. We\u2019ll be there soon.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joln looks at his brother as if surprised to see him smiling. \u201cI\u2019ll tell mother and father. See you.\u201d And with that he hung up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As if automatic Phe kneels down and indicates for me to get on his back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Something I happily comply with. At least Lenime can\u2019t touch me all the time now or so I had thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We leave the room and head down the corridor to the lift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lenime walks sadly beside us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hold out my hand, \u201cHold my hand, Len,\u201d I tell him gaining his attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He grins and quickly takes it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We get into the lift and without even noticing Lenime slips his other hand in mine to replace his first so he can sneak behind me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLen,\u201d I gasp, he again begins to touch me this time my backside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lift doors opens and another person enters. But this doesn\u2019t stop him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHello,\u201d I greet making him smile, Phe just nods with his normal hard look. Whilst Lenime on the other hand is still being Lenime and is far too busy irritating me to even notice the man looking at him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLenime, stop messing about now,\u201d Phe warns causing him to stop and again return to my side. Putting his first hand back in mine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lift door opens and we step out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other man stays inside. \u201cSee you around,\u201d I call back as the lift doors close making him smile again. I turn my head back to see Lenime grinning at me and both brothers chuckling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat?\u201d I ask. \u201cOnly because you two aren\u2019t polite it doesn\u2019t mean I\u2019m not.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That seems to make them chuckle more and we move into a familiar room. \u201cYou are just so sweet,\u201d Lenime says. \u201cMuch too kind to everyone,\u201d Grumpy chops adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lenime rolls his eyes as do I. \u201cAnd you, my darling, are too grumpy to everyone but me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI have been nice to Lenime,\u201d He reaches out and takes a familiar looking pill from a bottle. Places me on the ground, passes me it and a drink to take it with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThank you, Phe. You know everything.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He smiles adoringly at me. \u201cI just guessed if it hurt after just me, it would be a lot worse now,\u201d He says as I take the pill. Lenime frowns, \u201cWhy didn\u2019t you say anything?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBecause it was good during. It just hurt afterwards. But I was coping,\u201d I say honestly. I put down the tumbler and get back on Phe\u2019s back. \u201cNext time tell us, okay, love?\u201d Lenime tells me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t want you going through pain when you don\u2019t have too,\u201d Phe says this time. I mumble, \u201cAlright.\u201d And we leave the room and go back to the lift to go to yet another floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat you going to do about telling your family?\u201d I ask curiously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLeave them to guess. Then we\u2019ll tell them.\u201d You would expect that to come from Lenime, but no, it is Phe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lenime laugh, \u201cJust what I was going to say.\u201d I silently chuckle but say nothing. I love to see them speaking to someone other than me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI can\u2019t wait to see their faces when they realize she is ours,\u201d Lenime says, his voice full of pride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lift door opens yet again and we get off on a floor I have not been on yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
