I look at the text. At first it looks like random shapes and lines, but as though something clicked, everything makes sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI want you to remember whatever our families think or say. You will always be my family. Both of you and you will be my wife. I have always loved you nothing will change that ever,\u201d He leaned down and captured her lips. His hand sneaked beneath her dress and into her underwear, rubbing her\u2026.\u201d I begin reading out loud, but she quickly closes the page and cuts me off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I look at her to see she is again red faced. \u201cSorry, I didn\u2019t realize it was that kind of story,\u201d She says shyly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I smile and cup her cheek. \u201cYou are so beautiful, love.\u201d I capture her lips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before long my tongue\u2019s invaded her mouth and it is only then I taste it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cidner fruit. I pull back from the kiss leaving her confused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDid I do something wrong?\u201d She looks upset and worried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I quickly kiss her head and return to hugging her. \u201cNo. Never. It\u2019s just\u2026. Did you eat something before I woke up? Because your mouth tastes like Cidner fruit,\u201d I ask already knowing the answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She shakes her head, \u201cI don\u2019t know what that is, but my mouth does taste strange this morning, a little like strawberries,\u201d She says in thought. \u201cBut no, I haven\u2019t eaten. I got up to use the toilet and I swear you start whining. It was so cute,\u201d She grins, whilst I feel embarrassed. \u201cThe moment I came back and you both touched me, you both smiled and relaxed.\u201d She smiles into space and then frowns. \u201cI would have no clue how to get food,\u201d She adds as an after thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I frown, \u201cI\u2019m sorry, love. I\u2019ll show you later. That way you can get some when you want,\u201d I tell her. I don\u2019t like the idea of her staving because she doesn\u2019t know what to do. Not that I would let that happen. I will never leave her alone and I doubt Lenime will either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThank you, Jet. Now was there a reason you were asking? Because it sounded though there was.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is but I don\u2019t want to get our hopes up, but I can\u2019t not tell her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI want us to go visit mother. Don\u2019t worry, I promise it\u2019s nothing bad. I just need her to check something,\u201d I explain trying not to make her worry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI trust you, Jet, and if you say it isn\u2019t anything bad then I believe you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am so lucky to have you,\u201d I say licking her cheek. Then pull back and look at her with a smirk. \u201cLet\u2019s wake him up and get you fed so we can see mother.\u201d I stand up from the bed, take hold of Amber in my arms, removing Lenime\u2019s hand in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only this time he doesn\u2019t whine. No, he woke up looking worried. But when his eyes lands on us\u2026 Amber. He smiles. Standing up and hugged her, \u201cI thought you had left me,\u201d He says worried. \u201cPlease don\u2019t ever leavd me or Phe, please?\u201d He pleads with his head still buried in her neck as he hugd her as she lay in my arms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am never leaving either of you. You are my mates, my best friends. I love you both more than I ever thought possible. I wouldn\u2019t want to live without you both,\u201d She says stroking his head. He just stated standing there, his head resting on her, unmoving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHey, Len. You best not be asleep,\u201d She pokes his head making me chuckle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCan\u2019t we go back to bed and hug?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLenime,\u201d She whines. \u201cI\u2019m hungry. I want to eat.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry, love,\u201d He says pulling back with a frown, strokes her hair and kisses her cheek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhy won\u2019t you tell me why we have to go see mother?\u201d Lenime asks for the tenth time since we left our room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJust trust me,\u201d Is my reply again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amber is in Lenime\u2019s arms for a change and I am holding her hand. He seems more than happy about this. Despite where we are going he is smiling. It makes me happy to see them both happy. She is happy in my arms too but it is a nice change for her. I am still with her and touching her and that is all I need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut Phe\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are there now,\u201d I say as we enter the medical bay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mother is at her desk doing who knows what. But when she notices us stopped and stands up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHello.\u201d She walks over and hugs us. \u201cIs something wrong?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMother, I need you to\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat is it? Is something wrong? Did you hurt her?\u201d My mother asks us frantic. \u201cYou should be more careful. She is only small. What if you accidentally did permanent damage?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lenime\u2019s smile disappears and I can tell mother is starting to panic him too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMother!\u201d I snap getting her attention. \u201cShe is well. I just need you to check something for me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her eyebrows furrow and she stare at Amber intently. Almost like she is trying to work something out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIs this something to do with the funny taste in my mouth? Because if it is, I\u2019m sure it\u2019s nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTaste?\u201d My mother almost whispers and then everything clicks into place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her face is taken over by a huge smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLay here, lay here.\u201d She ushers a confused Amber over to the bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lenime and I are forced to stand a couple of feet away while mother does her work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am not sure if this will be able to tell yet, because the species difference. But I\u2019ll try.\u201d She take a familiar object out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will just have to remove you top half of clothing, Amber.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amber gives me a questioning look and I nod my head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another thing I love about her, she trusts me without question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lenime\u2019s eyes widen as she takes the scanner and points it at our half naked mates stomach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe\u2019s\u2026?\u201d His voice almost inaudible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think so. But I wanted to check before getting our hopes up.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m not entirely sure what we are doing here, but if you are looking for my womb, it is more to the left.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lenime and me share a smile. \u201cOur girl is so smart.\u201d I hum in agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThank you,\u201d Mother says smiling and goes back to looking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCan you tell me why a taste makes you thinks I\u2019m pregnant?\u201d Amber asks, not sounding convinced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe taste is the first sign. The female always starts to get her first symptoms of pregnancy within twenty four hours of joining and as both Lenime and Phe are your mates and you only just completed the joining with Lenime yesterday, it makes perfect sense.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would have tried to explain, but I\u2019m not really good with the medical stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lenime is getting antsy at the side of me, his body won\u2019t stop moving. I am excited\u2026 Beyond that but much better at hiding it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t want to make Amber feel bad if it is a false alarm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We both start to lose all hope when mother\u2019s eyes narrow and she took twice the amount of time we both have heard is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I notice Lenime\u2019s shoulder slump and I feel my own do the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I secretly was positive I was right, I was so excited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amber\u2019s face is blank as she watches mother. I hoped, wished she wanted one too, but can\u2019t read her expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know about now, but before the whole leak thing in my lab, human females could not tell they are pregnant for at least ten days,\u201d She says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMaybe that\u2019s it,\u201d Lenime says hopefully. I was thinking the same. But after what happened to her, we are unsure how else it has changed her until we go through the files and logs her brother sent us. Mother on the other hand is still so deep in focus, that I doubt she even heard us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHa!\u201d She says a minute later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat?\u201d Lenime asks. He looks really to bounce around the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI found it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mine, Lenime and Amber all are stunned. We had convinced ourselves it was a false alarm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is tiny. It is less than half the size of a normal Poyun fetus of this term, but it is definitely there. That is why it took me so long, it was hidden.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are going to be parents?\u201d Lenime asks surprisingly quiet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll have get the files translated, but yes. She is pregnant.\u201d Mother has a smile so big, it looks like her face might crack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t know who moved more faster, Lenime or me? Okay, it was me but only by a fraction of a second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But a second later I have picked Amber off the bed and the three of us are hugging with her between us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hear a squeal and a moment later mother is hugging us too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am so happy. I honestly wasn\u2019t sure if it would be possible. But I am more than happy it is. Another tiny grand baby.\u201d My mother is excited with every baby, but for some reason seems more excited this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll have too have another dinner with the family and tell them. But this time you can all stick around and Amber can get to know the rest of the family,\u201d Mother rambles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lenime rolls his eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMother, we will. But we need to translate the text first for you, right?\u201d I explain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou are right. We need to make sure mummy and baby are fine,\u201d She agrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBaby, baby, baby, baby,\u201d Lenime sang or at least tried. I think he watched too many Human videos the other day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is also rocking us back and forth as he continues to hug us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAmber, you are very quiet. Are you alright?\u201d Mother asks pulling back from the hug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Me and Lenime share a look and he pulls back slightly so we can see her better, but I still have a hold of her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is crying. \u201cWhat\u2019s wrong? Are you hurt?\u201d Lenime asks panicked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAren\u2019t you happy?\u201d I ask at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am happy.\u201d She smiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen why are you crying?\u201d I ask still worried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI just never thought this would happen, let alone with two perfect men. Then there is all your family, they are so accepting despite me not being your species. Everyone is just so great.\u201d I don\u2019t understand why that is a reason to cry, but as long as she is happy. Lenime look as confused as me, but just lean back in and hug her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My mother on the other hand seem to understand. Maybe it\u2019s just a universal female thing to make the males not understand and confused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou are part of our family. Of course we are accepting of you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I begin licking her cheeks clean of tears. I feel her cheeks quirk up as her grin widen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I pull back Lenime leans in and licks the tip of her nose. \u201cPretty girl.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDo you need any extra help with the translation program?\u201d Mother asks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s another thing we have to talk about,\u201d I say getting another confused look from Lenime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLenime hasn\u2019t tried yet, but I woke up this morning\u2026\u201d I tell them both all about this morning and being able to understand the different languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI thought it might be something to do with the unique bond.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will be able to do it too?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cProbably, Len,\u201d Amber says. \u201cI was wondering if anything else magic might happen?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
