We arrive at the house\/palace\/mansion – whatever you want to call it – only a minute later. We are rushed straight into a medical room with a doctor. But Lenime yells at him when he tries to treat the infant in front of an open window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is clear the man doesn\u2019t know anything about the child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The windows are closed and the sunlight blocked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCheck Amber over,\u201d Dallas orders the doctor to get him out of the way and from under my mates feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe is pregnant with her mates child.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBefore I forget, how is Xuina?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kiy turns to me with a small, sad smile. \u201cIt is damaged. Ren said it may heal, but if not she would be able to live normally. Though she may need extra help during pregnancy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It isn\u2019t good news, but not bad either. \u201cI have confidence in her. Mother and Lenime are clever.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kiy smiles and nods, \u201cYou are right.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lenime came over to me and kisses me. \u201cDo not worry, I will help them both,\u201d He indicates to Marmite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThank you, Len. I love you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI love you too, Amber.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The man escorts Phe and me into the neighbouring room without question. Bern, Reck, Lein, Tou, Aaron and his mate came too. While Kiy, Ty, Dallas and a couple of guards I don\u2019t know the names of stayed with Lenime as he treats Marmite. My mate isn\u2019t happy about not being with me but knows the baby needs urgent treatment and plus he wants the doctor out of the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat can you tell me about your pregnancy so far?\u201d The older man asks me politely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHmm. It is my mates – Lenime and Phe\u2019s – who are Poyun,\u201d I indicate to my mate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLenime\u2019s in the other room. Hmm\u2026 Oh yeah, I have been taking supplements Lenime created and his mother has been looking after me.\u201d My mind goes blank and I can\u2019t think what to say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDo you know what are in the supplements? Or how far along you are?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo,\u201d I shake my head. \u201cBut he can tell you afterward. As for length\u2026 Ren\u2026 My doctor, told me she wasn\u2019t a hundred percent sure because it is a hybrid, but based on a regular Human\u2019s gestation she thought around two weeks now.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He nods thoughtfully, tapping on a panel on the wall. The screen lights up and he took a small handset from a side table. He indicated for me to lay on the bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen was your last period?\u201d He ask without looking at me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was just before\u2026 So about-\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEight hundred years\u2026 Give or take a year or two.\u201d I look to my brother amused and the doctor looks kind of annoyed. Or at least, he did until he looked at Aaron and his mate. A look of realization crosses his face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy lords\u2026. You\u2026 You are\u2026 Were dead.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNope, just in stasis. Long story. Right now I\u2019d like you to see too my sister.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wow, everyone really is in love with my brother. Ha. Okay, maybe not in love but you get the idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou have a sister?\u201d Aaron looks like he is getting annoyed at the doctor\u2019s questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes. She is the original changed and has been in stasis on Earth from the beginning until her mates and their family rescued her. Now, make sure she and the child are alright.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I glared at my brother, but he simply smiles at me innocently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf I can just place this on you and I’ll check your vitals, ma\u2019am?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ma\u2019am? I\u2019m like twenty years younger than him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I nod my head and he slips a rubber bracelet with metal discs inside around on wrist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cImpressive\u2026\u201d He mumbles looking over the readings on the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNext a blood test,\u201d He says indicating from me to hold my index finger out. \u201cYou\u2019ll just feel a small prick.\u201d The device pierces my skin and sucks a drop of blood inside. He says nothing this time but nods to himself. This is going a lot easier than I expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bright light passes over my body before disappearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHmm\u2026 It appears the scanner will not pass through your clothing. You will need to pull it down.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without question, Phe helps me pull it down to my lower waist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh\u2026 I\u2019ll get you some tissues and blanket,\u201d The doctor says noticing my bare breasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYour boobies are huge now\u2026 And dripping,\u201d Aaron comments and I looks down to see he is right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat\u2026? I thought it I was just hot,\u201d I mumble in reply, looking down and sure enough, a milky liquid is seeping from my nipple. I’m honestly not bother about showing my naked form, not after our group shower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is perfectly normal,\u201d The doctor says passing me a tissue for me to dry myself and a blanket – I guess to cover my chest. I do just that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll women are different. Though\u2026\u201d There is a slight pause. \u201cWomen don\u2019t normally start lactating quite so quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhich means?\u201d Aaron\u2019s husband – Lance – asks. He is stood with his arm around Aaron and smiles at me when he sees me looking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAre you happy having all these people in with you?\u201d The doctor finally asks a question he probably should have asked ages ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s alright, they can stay. They are family.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He simply nods and turns to Lance. \u201cTo answer your question, I would say the pregnancy is further along than first thought.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen you say lactating, does that mean that in theory I could start breastfeeding now?\u201d I ask curiously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHmm. Can I examine your breasts?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I go to nod, but Aaron steps in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will examine them.\u201d I look sceptical. \u201cI got a doctorate in medicine during my time on the ship to find a new home planet.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The doctor nods and takes a step back so my brother can take his place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cImpressive. I\u2019m proud of you.\u201d He was always clever and had lots of qualifications and doctorates in biochemistry and suchlike. I had the same as him – other than the medical part. We always did, all the same courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pulling down my blanket, he begins palming and professionally examining my breast\u2026 Surprisingly. Phe stands protectively at my side but never stops him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhy are all veiny?\u201d I mumble with a frown only just noticing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDon\u2019t worry, Snow,\u201d Aaron reassures me. \u201cIt is perfectly normal. Lula\u2019s are the same when she was lactating. Though, yours are very full for so early. Normally they only produce a few drops at this term. But yours\u2026\u201d He gave one of my breasts a slight squeeze and a stream of milk shot out and onto his clothes. He just laughs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHey!\u201d I slap his hand away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHa, sorry, I couldn\u2019t resist it,\u201d He laughs. \u201cBut yes, you could easily start feeding. I would advise you to put some maternity pads in your top or you\u2019ll be soaked all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have some, I will get you some after the scan,\u201d The doctor says tapping on the screen again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aaron steps back and I cover my breasts as again the light appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIs this blanket okay?\u201d I ask unsurely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes. The scanner can pass through it if need be. It just cannot pass through your previous clothing,\u201d He explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I guess the material isn\u2019t just UV protective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat can you tell me about hmm\u2026? Your mates species pregnancies?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey are Poyun.\u201d Phe is stroking my arm. \u201cThe fetus spends a month of gestation in the womb before the mother gives birth to the fetus in the amnion shell. After that, it is transferred to the incubator where it stays and is cared for the next five months until it is fully developed and ready to be taken out.\u201d The doctor, Aaron, and his mate all look surprised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat is pretty cool,\u201d My brother mumbles. \u201cBut I suspect it won\u2019t help much in this case.\u201d I thought the same. But always best to tell them just to be sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The light\/scan thing lasts barely ten seconds. \u201cIt will just take a moment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few seconds later a holographic image of what I recognize as the womb appear. I watch in awe as the walls of the womb disappear and zoom in to see a watery bubble with a tiny, but a long pink thing. It is slightly curled up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat is that?\u201d Phe asks and the doctor looks unsure. \u201cOh,\u201d I remember he doesn\u2019t have the translator. \u201cHe asked what it is?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know what it is, but it can\u2019t help to double check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat is your baby.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBaby? We can look inside and see?\u201d Phe is staring at the image adoringly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes. Well, it scans and projects the image. Don\u2019t you have something like that?\u201d I ask surprised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe do\u2026\u201d There is a pause. \u201cBut it is used to check for internal injuries\u2026 But I am sure when Lenime learns of this we can adapt it,\u201d Tou explains. From what I have learned about him, he is an engineer and a pretty good one. I guess it runs in the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wish Len were here to see this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As though reading my mind, a half-naked Lenime holding an equally naked Marmite, now completely covered in a white cream, even his tuft of hair. His eyes are still red, but whatever that cream is it is helping him heal and really fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOnly the outer layer of skin is healing quickly, the lower and his eyes will take longer,\u201d He answer again as though reading my mind. One of the guys closes the curtains and the rest of the guys file in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIs that\u2026?\u201d Lenime asks, now beside me and looking at the hologram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat is our baby,\u201d I tell him, picking the infant from his arms and laying him on me before taking both my mates hands in mine<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn normal Human gestational terms, I would say you are about five weeks pregnant.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I look to the doctor then to Aaron for confirmation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes and he\/she is perfectly healthy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI have been pregnant five days. No wonder Len and Ren had to dope me up.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDope?\u201d Kiy asks moving closer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMedicated,\u201d I correct myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He smiles and reaches, brushing his fingers over the baby\u2019s head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat is especially fast. But I would not be surprised if it either slows down or continues at this rate. You are magnificent.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Okay, I am not sure whether to be freaked out by the doctor or not. But my mates and the other Poyun seem strangely happy at the prospect of the baby being born so soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou will be a great mother.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThank you, father.\u201d I don\u2019t fail to notice Aaron\u2019s raised brow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhere are the boy\u2019s parents?\u201d Tou asks looking down at the now sleeping infant on my belly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHis father was part of the Trenks crew which came.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo they were here pretty recently?\u201d Dallas nods in reply to my question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey had a rudimental translator of sorts so they could speak basic English. Bane\u2019s\u2026\u201d I can\u2019t stop myself glaring, I hate him calling Marmite that. \u201cMarmite,\u201d I correct. I hear a chuckle from Aaron and his mate, but Dallas just nods and continues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe baby\u2019s mother was a Human. She found out she was the mate of the captain. They were pleasant in the beginning, so we thought nothing of her mating him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey are mercenaries, an angry fighter race,\u201d Ty corrects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYeah. We found that out the hard way. Once he had mated her, he passed her to his men and allowed them to rape her, repeatedly.\u201d All the men wore the same angry expression. \u201cThey must not have been watching her because she escaped and came to us. The crew was only small – several men – and so we – with surprise able to take them down and destroy the ship – in case they had a tracker. But that wasn\u2019t before we found out they had raped and murdered several other men and women. God only knows what they were planning. It might seem a little bit extreme to you, but we couldn\u2019t risk it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo. I agree, you made the correct choice,\u201d Kiy agrees. \u201cThey are not known to leave survivors.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShortly after she found out she was pregnant. She was in a medical facility for mental problems for what happened. In truth, after her mate was killed we expected her to die. But she held on until her son was born. But she killed herself afterward. None of her family wanted anything to do with the baby. But when I approached Tyme – she is an unmated nurse – she agreed and has been caring for him for the last couple of months. She even named him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes, Bane. Do you ever wonder why?\u201d Dallas looks confused and I look to Aaron. \u201cHe definitely is your grandson, clever, but a total airhead when it comes to common sense.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHey!\u201d They both exclaim at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe is an abusive, xenophobic bitch. And if she touches or looks at him again I will kill her myself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe is a good woman,\u201d The doctor interrupts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDid you not see him when he came in?! She held him up to the window in the sun knowing it hurt him and watched him burn and cry. She did nothing, but laugh and spit abuse at him! He is a fucking baby! He did not choose to be born nor for his father to be a murdering fuck up! He is innocent!\u201d I yell at him, now sat up and holding the still sleeping infant to my chest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFrom now on his name is Marmite and he is coming with me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aaron nods. \u201cI will personally adopt him. We will be coming with you anyway. That way you can see him as much as you want, but you\u2019ll be able to care for your own baby too.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019re coming with us?\u201d I ask with tears in my eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI thought I had already made that clear. I didn\u2019t fake my death and have myself frozen just to lose you again.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou had yourself frozen to wait for me?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aaron chuckles watching my mates lick my tears away. \u201cI love you, Snow. Do you think I wanted to leave you there? I was forced. I spent my whole life making sure the right people would know about you and save you when it was safe enough to return and we had the transport. I always had – since the moment that ship took off from Earth – planned on putting myself and my family into stasis but a lot of things went down and I was forced to wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t realize until many years later that because my genes and higher dose my aging slowed down dramatically. My mates would have aged faster, but once you mate, your mates get that something from you and their aging slowed down too, thankfully.\u201d Lance kisses his cheek. \u201cOur children didn\u2019t want to be frozen but didn\u2019t want to stop us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou agreed to go into stasis with him?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUhm,\u201d Lance nods. \u201cFrom the moment, Lula and I met him you are all he spoke of. You and sex,\u201d He said but then quickly added almost embarrassed, \u201cObviously not together. Separate\u2026 Or with us\u2026\u201d He rambles. It is kind of cute to see an alpha looking male so nervous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both Aaron and I share a look and both smirk. He draws an arm behind his taller husband and rubs his back, whispering something that sounds like, \u201cRelax.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI believe what he is trying to say is that they want to meet you,\u201d Dallas suggests. Lance takes a deep breath and smiles, nodding his head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, I\u2019m happy to meet you. My brother deserves someone or two to love.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey – Lance and Lula – are great. You\u2019ll love them too. I know it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tiredness and hunger hit me like a wave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m hungry,\u201d I say yawning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDinner should be just about ready,\u201d Dallas answers quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both my mates help me sit up and Lenime picks Marmite from my chest. But almost as soon as his skin left mine the baby began wailing. My mate return him to my belly and he stops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Again Lenime tries to move him and the same happens. Even Phe and Aaron try with the same result. \u201cI think he wants to stay there. But if what you said is true, he severely lacks skin to skin contact in a positive manner. This would be good for him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI like holding him, but I am not wandering around with no top on when Monet is around. Not to mention I\u2019m sure the rest of the community aren\u2019t quite as liberal when it comes to nakedness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The doctor chuckles but replies, \u201cHe seems to like you. He probably enjoys being close to your chest, hearing your heart. It will be soothing and remind him of being in the womb. Just him in your arms should be enough.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019ll hold him, you get dressed.\u201d Aaron picks him up again. Dallas and the doctor are the only ones to respectfully turn around as I pull my suit back up – not that I expected the Poyun to. As for Lance, he is too busy drooling over my brother holding the baby to notice anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe pads\u2026\u201d The doctor disappears from the room for only seconds, returning with a couple of circular pad type things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh, thank you.\u201d I take them from his hand as he avoids looking at my chest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat are those?\u201d My younger mate asks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
