\u201cFuck! Am I going to imprint on all vampires I see?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They all seem pleased and the principal is looking at me oddly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo. Only people your soul feels a connection too,\u201d Lazarus answers. That doesn\u2019t make much sense to me but okay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou accept me?\u201d I look to the principal. \u201cYou accept me? My imprint?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is crazy and I have no idea how it works. But I do feel connects to you all. I always have,\u201d I say the last part looking at the principal. \u201cBut am I allow? I am your great niece. Well, most of you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s right, the woman he imprinted on is my grandmother and his older sister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes. Like it would stop us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCan I bath you?\u201d They all look to the principal as though to ask \u2018what?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI want to take care of you. I have been so cruel to you, I want to make it up to you and earn my place as your mate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I smile. \u201cYou weren\u2019t cruel, principal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCall me Mal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou never said a word to me. You were the only person in school who wasn\u2019t cruel. My sister is the Queen and I was the eighteen year old in an eight year old\u2019s body. The teachers weren\u2019t outright cruel, but they all treated me differently because I am seen as lesser. Even my daddies said\u2026\u201d Tears welled in my eyes and he pulled me into his arms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou have never been lesser. Even when you were little you were special. Strong.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou have us now. We are yours and you are ours. No one, even your parents, will hurt you ever again,\u201d Jacob says and the others agree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLet\u2019s bath.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the tears I begin to giggle. \u201cDo you think me unclean?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou are a little sandy and bloody,\u201d He answer amused and kisses my nose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I frown and look down to see I am indeed covered in blood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was a big guy and you barely drank any,\u201d Issac explains. \u201cHis arterial blood sprayed all over you when you pulled back to look at us. It was very arousing,\u201d He admits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI hadn\u2019t even noticed. I planning on sitting on the beach until morning,\u201d I think out loud. \u201cIt\u2019s a good job you saw me. I usually kill people in their homes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe wouldn\u2019t have left you bloody.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They lead me up some stairs to a large bathroom and Malachi began to run a bath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWere you sexual with my grandmother too?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They quickly shake their heads. \u201cShe lead Mal along for over a century with promises but left while we were still babies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My heart broke for him. Promises about forever and children, all the time she was having sex with random men. Then to leave him for a human man who didn\u2019t want her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No wonder he was so hurt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will try and be a good mate for you all. If I do anything wrong. I don\u2019t know\u2026 I\u2019ve always been treated as a small child until tonight, so this is all strange.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They all reassure me and all appear happy. Each hugs me but none pressure me into anything else. Probably sensing my nerves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kicking off the sandals and pulling the dress over my head, I climb into the warm water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a big tub. Bigger than I\u2019ve ever seen. They look me over back never comment or try anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAren\u2019t any of you joining me?\u201d I ask nervously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is about your comfort, Zelda,\u201d Mal says. \u201cWe want to pamper you,\u201d Jacob adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are going to do things the proper way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe proper way?\u201d I ask curiously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes,\u201d Mal nods with a smile. \u201cNo mouth kisses,\u201d He touches my lips with his index finger. \u201cAnd no sex for five days. The next few days you\u2019ll be pampered and not have to raise a finger.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFive days? Really?\u201d They look amused but nod. \u201cWhy?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAncient rules.\u201d Seeing my blank expression he asks, \u201cYou remember ancient rules, Ms Ambrose\u2019s class.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can\u2019t stop myself rolling my eyes. \u201cShe\u2019s a bit slow. I\u2019m sure we\u2019ll get to it before we graduate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will review that. It really should be taught the first year of senior school.\u201d Senior school is ages seventeen to twenty-one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhy don\u2019t you four teach me? You\u2019re my teacher, right?\u201d I ask teasingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFlirt as much as you want, we aren\u2019t giving in to you,\u201d Says Jacob.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s for the best, Zelda. It is a proven way make an everlasting bond.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His twin nods his head, \u201cYes. Relationships built exclusively and instantly on sex almost never last.\u201d My mind goes straight to my parents. My mother is always bragging how she and my daddies imprinted and had sex within the first hour of meeting. My grandmother hated her, I think she was jealous because my grandfather truly loved her but not my grandmother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am nervous the whole time but they seem content washing me. Never once do they touch me inappropriately. But clean every inch of me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe haven\u2019t any women\u2019s clothing. But I know a place we can get you some. There\u2019s a vampire run store open every night.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have me out of the bath and wrapped in a towel<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019ll have to wear one of our shirts or something for now.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cReally? My mother always brought my clothes online.\u201d I am pretty excited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With brushed hair and dressed in an over-sized shirt and ugly granny sandals, not forgetting my bag of money we all leave the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI like your smile, Mal,\u201d I say making him smile bigger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes, it is good to see you happy. We were worried we\u2019d never see you smile.\u201d His brothers and Lazarus are clearly happy not only to be with me and Mal and see him happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo have you been celibate since Jezebel?\u201d I ask Mal as again a twin drives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been with some humans but only for stress relief. But they didn\u2019t live to tell.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I nod pleased to know there are no jealous vampires out there and look to the others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe share humans on occasion,\u201d Jacob answers my unasked question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd with one another?\u201d I guess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes,\u201d Issak answers glancing back at me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019ll find most group matings have sex with one another. But it doesn\u2019t mean you are any less important or loved.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI know. I understand you all are imprinted on one another too. But you wouldn\u2019t have imprinted on me so quickly if our souls weren\u2019t connect in some way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They smile pleased. \u201cExactly. You can force an imprint but they never last.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes, I heard that is why the King\u2019s imprints never last.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lazarus nods. \u201cOnly true, natural imprints like ours lasts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDoes it always happen straight away?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He shakes his head. \u201cYou can know someone years and then it just suddenly happens.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s kind of what happened with us,\u201d I look to Mal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn a sense, yes. I was fond of you despite my actions. But I could have never been with you as you were.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMal!\u201d Jacob tries to scold his brother but I stop him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo. I completely understand. I literally never went through puberty, I haven\u2019t even had a period. I went to sleep a couple of days ago in the body of a child, no hint of womanhood and not even four foot tall. This\u2026\u201d I wave my hand over my body. \u201cIs quite literally a dream come true and finding mates is another,\u201d I say with a smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou have us now. You never have to be alone.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We arrive to the store a short while later and it is marvellous. Huge, elegant and sexy. Everything and more than I imagined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGrowth spurt?\u201d The woman asks approaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I nod and she held out her hand for me. \u201cCome with me and I\u2019ll have you measured. Then we can get you dressed in something as beautiful as you.\u201d Innocent flirting but I like it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She led me into a private side room set out with all what she\u2019d need to measure someone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIs it a whole new wardrobe?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes. I\u2019ve grown out of everything.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She nods, locks the door and has me strip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAre they your fathers or mates? Or both?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMates. Fathers? Does that really happen?\u201d I ask in shock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She smirks and nods her head. \u201cOh, more often than you\u2019d think. Men sense a connection with a woman and force an imprinting, rush into sex. Only to realize the connection they felt left the moment their child was born. They watch the child grow and when they reach adulthood they imprint and complete mating with the Ancient rules.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI had no idea. My mates are actually my great uncles,\u201d I say remembering. \u201cAnd one was briefly involved with my grandmother before she found her mate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSee. Another prime example of what I told you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She spoke more suggesting colours and styles that would suit me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat type of clothes did you like before?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t really have a choice. My daddies brought my clothes.\u201d I open the bag I have with me and pull out a pretty frilly dress. Cute, but I want clothes more suited to my age and body now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She stares at it for several seconds before looking at me with a serious expression. \u201cAre you Zelda Sage?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2026 How do you know me?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh my goodness, your daddies have been going frantic looking for you everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likely feeling guilty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what happened but they are very worried about you. They are always on the streets, I see them every time I go to work and when I go home.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cH..have you seen anyone else?\u201d I ask hopeful. I really miss them and Zayda despite everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She shakes her head. \u201cBut it is clear you daddies love you deeply.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I nod my head. I shouldn\u2019t be surprised my daddies always adored me and babied me before their angry slip the other week. They always stood up for me against people speaking bad of me. \u201cI will contact them once we are finished here.\u201d This seems to please her and she finishes measuring me, jotting all down for me for future reference. Vampire are rarely, almost never overweight. So excluding pregnancy, my size won\u2019t change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
