Chapter 4

I brush her hair out of her face with my fingers.

“The only person who knows you are my sister is Micheal, our cousin. Remember he left home and never spoke to his parents again?” I was sure she would, since we had all grew up together. But best to be sure. I knew she hadn’t seen him in years.

“Oh yeah,” She said remembering and a small smile crossed her face.

“Well, he’s my business partner, remember?” I remind her.

“Won’t he say anything?” She worries.

“No. You and me are the only family he has. He loves us and you remember how he loved hanging out at our house all the time when we were younger. Spending time with his favorite two people, as he put it.” He was like another sibling to us and was my best friend growing up and still is.

“But I haven’t seen in years…” It almost sounded like a question.

“But he is always asking about you.” She might have forgotten about him, but he never failed to ask about her.

After a bit of convincing, she agrees to get ready and wait until we speak to our cousin.

I know he will be alright with everything, but I don’t want her to worry.

Right now, I am sat in the kitchen with a coffee and an egg and bacon toasty waiting for my angel.

I am dressed in my designer black suit thinking about what just happened.

“Is this okay?” I didn’t even hear her enter the kitchen.

I look up from the table and almost choke on my coffee.

Bella was standing just feet from me wearing a tight black pencil skirt which ended a couple of inches above the knee, a fitted which blouse which dipped slightly at the chest and a pair of black pumps.

No tights or stockings needed because her legs where perfected and tanned.

Her haired tied back in a loose bun and she wore light natural make up. Not really needing any because she was perfect without.

“If it’s stupid or too much of can change.”

I realize she took my silence as a bad sign. I need to quickly fix that.

“You look perfect. Didn’t you notice me almost choked on my coffee? I don’t think I have ever seen a more hot yet professional looking woman in my life. If we weren’t already late I would take you right here,” I confess.

She blushes, “You really mean that?”

“Entirely. Now eat up I got you a toasty from the place across the street. We will go to the shops after work and pick up some food because I haven’t really got anything in at all.”

We both ate breakfast and soon left for work.

The drive only took fifteen minutes but I could tell Bella was still nervous as I parked in my personal parking space in the indoor parking lot and then helping her out of the car.

“Don’t worry, angel. Everything will be fine,” I kiss her forehead, “I promise.”

I take her hand in mine and proceed to the lift which takes us to to my floor which opens out to the security desk before anyone is let through.

On the desk today is Rob and someone new who I guess Micheal hired while I was away.

“Hello Boss, Ma’am,” Both men greet us.

“Good trip?” Rob asks.

“Great. Who’s this?” I ask him about the new guy.

“This is Dave. It’s his second day on the job,” He tells me and I nod.

“New intern?” He asks with a knowing look, looking my sister up and down.

“No. My assistant and my girlfriend,” I glare.

“So, keep your eyes off if you want to keep your job.” I tell him harshly, but without yelling.

I didn’t give him a chance to answer because I walk past them and towards my office. With a lot of people watching me as I did which was normal. Not to sound big headed but I am hot and most of my female and even some of my male staff lust after me.

I get a lot of ‘hellos’ and ‘Good morning’ most women ignoring Bella. The ones that don’t, either glare at her jealously or smile at the fact that I am holding her hand. Yes, it’s a big building.

The men were a different matter, they were mostly giving her the same look the women were giving me.

“I’ll have to speak to the office about this later,” I half thought and spoke lowly to Bella.

I hated the way both the men and women with looking at her and I sure as hell don’t want any more whores throwing themselves at me. Not now I have my girl. I wouldn’t mind or care in the past but now things are different and I only want her.

Finally arriving at my office I am met by Julia – my fifty-five year-old Secretary.

At first when she saw Bella she frowned but then she saw our linked hands she smiled, “Finally found the right girl?” She asked hopeful.

“Yes. She’s perfect. Bella, this is Julia my secretary. Julia, this is Bella, my new personal assistant and girlfriend.”

“Hello Ms Julia.” Bella holds out her hand but Julia ignores it and pulls get into a hug instead.

“I am so happy to meet you and take Eric has finally decided to settle down,” She let’s her go.

“So am I,” Bella says. “He’s a beautiful man.” I love hearing her say things like that.

“That he is and in future you will call me Julia, just Julia, no Ms. Alright?”

Bella smiles and nods.

“Good. So, Eric…” Julia and Micheal and the only ones who are allow to call me by my first name to everyone else it is Mr. Wade anyone tries to call me otherwise is fired. Why? Because I can.

“Eric, are you listening?” Julia says loudly getting my attention. She was like a second mom to me, but nicer than my real.

“No, sorry, I spaced out. What did you say?” I asked as Bella stood we quietly beside me.

My attention drifts again, ‘I still can’t believe how complete and different it makes me feel having sex with her,’ I think with a smile. But somehow this time manage to hear what Julia said.

“Micheal is waiting for you in your office.”

“Thank you. Can you get an intern sent out for our usual, one for you and a mocha for Bella.” She nods and we turn to my office door.

“Remember, you’ll be fine,” I whisper and kiss her head before entering the room.

Micheal was laid on the couch at the side of my room with his feet up and his eyes closed, probably asleep.

I roll my eyes and close the door.

“Typical,” I half laugh.

Bella reminds silent, probably still nervous.

“He is touching himself,” She whispers to me with a slight blush in her cheeks.

I look at him and sure enough he is laid sleeping with his hand in his pants.

“Micheal, get the fuck up and go wank yourself in your own office.” The cheeky bastard didn’t even stir.

Like me, Micheal, who was twenty-five, has ice blue eyes like me and similar features and an athletic body, meaning most people, including everyone in the office thinks he is my brother.

I didn’t mind thought, we were close like brothers. Another reason like think we are brothers is because we share the same last name.

Unlike me he has dark black hair and was six foot one.

I rolled my eyes, “Wake up,” I yell poking his head.
“Go away,” He mumbled sleepy and whacked my hand away. “No, wake up. Bella, nor I, want to see you whacking yourself off,” I continue to poke him.

“Bella?” He said confused but still not opening his eyes.

“Yes. Remember I told you last night Arabella was coming to work with me?” I reminded him.

“Arrie,” He sat up wide awake.

“Hand…” She said shyly.

“What?” He asked confused and looked down eyes wide and quickly removed his hand.

I watched him with amusement, he was looking everywhere but at us.

“I know you’ve been keeping yourself to yourself lately, but is that any reason to masterbate in my office?” I teased.

“I was excited about you two returning. So I decided to wait, but you were late and I fell asleep.”

“Excited? I never knew you like me like that,” I smirk.

He ignores me and stands up, straightening himself up, before walking over to Bella.

“Hello Arrie,” He uses the nickname he gave her as a child. “I missed you so much,” He smiled and brought her into a hug.

She relax into it after a second, “Hi. I missed you too.” Resting her head against his shoulder.

I was surprised by myself. I didn’t feel any jealousy like I did when men were looking at her just minutes earlier.

I actually felt happy that they were bonding.

“Micheal, we need to have a little chat,” I say causing them to break apart.

He nods and puts his arm around her shoulder leading her over to the couch.

Once there we all sit down, Bella sitting between us.

“You have grown a lot seen I last saw you,” He told her.

I look at her and smile. “Yes, she has…” He smiles too.

“And that is partly, kind of, want to speak to you about.” He gives me a curious look and Bella remains quiet.

“If this morning is anything to go by, Bella seems to have a lot of admirers…” Micheal seemed to frown slightly but quickly hid it. “Well, she is very beautiful.” He brushed a loose strand of hair out of her face.
“Yes, she is,” I took her hand in mine and place a single kiss on her lips letting it linger for a couple of seconds before moving back causing her blush.

Micheal raised an eyebrow. “Do I get a kiss too?” Bella looked to me, which didn’t go unnoticed by Micheal but he said nothing.

He was a good guy and I knew he loved Bella too, so nodded a yes in replied. I knew she’d say no if she didn’t want too.

She turned back to him and he cupped her face and looked at her for a second before kissing her lips like I did only moments earlier and then pulled away leaving a embarrassed and blushing again Bella.

I could see where this was going.

“Micheal, you haven’t told anyone she is my sister yet have you?” He gave me a half smile as if knowing my thoughts.

“No. I thought I would leave it off until I spoke to you. I was up thinking after we spoke last night and I thought that if that man does come after her like you think, then maybe it is better if no one knows your sister is here.”

I smile proud and thankful that my cousin cares so much.

“I was thinking the same thing…” I trail off wanting to tell him the rest but unsure how to.

“What should I tell them?”

I look at Bella once more before I speak as if asking if she is sure about everything and she nods to go ahead.

I was happy that now she had time to think she still wanted the same. I was sure she would of changed her mind and that is why I asked.

“If anyone asks tell them she is my girlfriend. That way it stops them from leering at her too… Hopefully. She hates strange men staring at her,” I say the last part quietly.

He nods and smiles, “It’s a good idea. Got to protect our princess,” He said it jokingly but I knew he meant it really.

“I have to tell you some more things, but I would rather tell you it later. Come around to my place tonight for dinner and we’ll chat,” I tell him, not wanting to be at the office when I tell him in case he reacts badly.

“Sounds good,” He begins standing up. “I have a few things to do. I’ll probably pop in a lunch time.” He leaned down and kissed Bella on the cheek this time. “See you, Arrie,” He grinned knowing how she hated the name and turned to me.

“And you too, Eric,” He leaned down and playfully kissed my cheek too.

I pushed him away and laughed.

“I always thought he was gay.” Micheal turned back to us before reaching the door when he heard Bella say that. She stopped and stared. “Sorry, didn’t mean for you to hear that,” She said sheepishly.

“We’ll speak about this later,” He grinned amused. “You are lucky I am late or else…” He said with a wink and then left without another word.
