It was never a secret Sofia was adopted, or if you listerned to her adoptive mother she had stolen her as a baby to escape her captives, an evil cannibalist family.
Not that anyone believed her. Not even her husband, Sofia’s adoptive father.
But always feeling different, darker than the others her age, Sofia couldn’t help but wish it was true.
