Chapter 6
“He wants Amy. He said she is to pack and he will return for her tomorrow afternoon…” Their father’s words echoed throughout the room.
“He is not going anywhere near her!” Garrek growled loudly and Blaze pulled Amy back between them.
“We are not going to let him either,” Ross growled back.
“Darlings, we know how you feel, we feel the same. We will not let Liam take her,” Paula spoke this time.
“Have you fully mated? I mean I guess you have because she shifted, but it is hard to tell when you are always by her side?” Their father asked.
Amy smiled sheepishly. “Yes, we are,” Blaze answered kissing the top of her head.
Their parents both smiled. “We are glad,” Paula said honestly. “We can see how much you love each other.”
“You aren’t mad or upset?” Amy asked her parents.
Both their faces soften as they look at their youngest child. “Angel, we love you all. We would never be mad with any of you for being with your mate,” Her father told her.
“If anything we are happy you that all our children our mated together. We have always seen how close to were and your father and I would often say we thought Amy and Garrek might be mates. We were surprise to find out Blaze was too, but happy. We love you all so much. As for Liam we have a few ideas but we wanted to speak to you three first,” Their mother said.
“Okay. So what are these ideas?” Blaze questions sitting on the small loveseats with Amy on his lap and Garrek beside her holding her hand.
“As you were when you were at college before the holidays, we were planning that not only you two would return to your Uncle’s pack. But also me, your mother and Amy too.” Amy looks to Blaze. “Uncle’s pack?” She questioned.
“I’ll explain later, honey,” He replied lowly.
“We were going to tell you later, but we were planning on taking Amy with us anyway. We spoke to Uncle James about it and he said he would be more than happy to have more family about the house. As for you and Dad, James said that he wanted you from the start to move to be in his pack but you choose to be in this one because of Dad’s family and position. I am sure he would love for you to come too. Do you want me to contact him to check and let him know what’s going on?” He spoke to their parents.
“We kind of guessed you might want to do that,” Ross half laughed.
“Well, it’s a good job we are coming to because we would hate to see all our kids go away.”
“As for James, I contacted him through our family link and he said pretty much what you just told us,” Paula added.
“Did Liam say anything else to you?” Garrek spoke this time.
Ross shook his head and Blaze grunted a short sarcastic laugh, “Makes sense.”
“What’s that meant to mean?” Ross questions.
They told them what Amy had told them earlier.
Ross turned to his daughter, “Why didn’t you mention any of this to us before? I know I am his Beta. But I am first and foremost your father and that overrules any stupid commitment I might have to him or this pack. Family is the most important thing to me.” Paula silently nodded in agreement.
“I know I should’ve told you but I was worried,” Amy said back quietly, nervously looking down.
“I can’t believe I never noticed before,” Her mother mumbled sadly. “By the way, he came in here today it was… I don’t know. It was creepy. It was like he didn’t even care that he had lost his mate,” Ross agreed. “Yes, if I didn’t know otherwise, the way he was I would of thought Amy was his mate,” Ross added to his wife’s comments.
Blaze and Garrek both growled and Amy whimpered. “She is not his!” Garrak started. “She is our mate!” Blaze finished.
“Don’t worry, sons, we know that and we have a plan already thought out.”
“What is it?” Amy spoke in a quiet whisper still some what nervous and scared about what was happening.
Blaze whispered in her ear, “Everything will be okay.” And place a kiss just behind it, before turning his attention back to his parents.
“It may sound a cowardly but hear me out?” He began and his sons gave him a nod to continue.
“This afternoon we will do as Liam asked and pack up Amy’s bags…” The boys growled but Ross ignored it and continued. “We will also pack our stuff. Not everything, just stuff which is irreplaceable. Anything else we will have to buy new.”
Thankfully, their family nor their Uncle were short of cash, so replacing things wouldn’t be a problem.
“No, large things. Me and your mother will pack all the family photos and clothes and anything else we think of later. So that should leave you lot mainly to pack clothes and any small knickknacks you might want to keep. I promise if in the future there is any chance to come back and collect the rest of our belongings we will. But I doubt it. Once we have finished we will pack both cars – which are located in their garage, which just so happens to be connected to the house. So they don’t have to go outside to get to it – with our cases in the trunk and none in the back seat just encase for some reason we are stopped by one of the pack guards, we don’t want them to notice something going on.
“We will all leave late evening. You three will take your car, Blaze, and me and your mother, ours. If Liam or anyone else asks where we are going we will say a family dinner before you and Gar have to return to college and Amy moves out. I am good friends with the Alpha of the Moonlight pack, I have spoke to him and he has agreed to let us take a shortcut through his land. Which should cut about an hour off our journey not having to go around it.”
“Isn’t that the pack which Liam’s mate belonged to before she was killed?” Garrek asked.
“Yes, sadly. Her father is the Alpha. I haven’t told him everything, but I did tell him we had to get away from the pack for a while and he didn’t seem surprised. But I was. I don’t know if he knows something or not, but by the tone he spoke in when he spoke Liam’s name, I would say he hates him,” Ross explained looking deep in through.
“Strange. Most father’s love their daughter’s mates especially if they have a good position,” He thought out loud.
“Maybe, he saw through Liam’s facade,” Blaze said in a not too nice tone.
“Maybe…” Ross said still in thought before snapping out of it and jumping up.
“Come on. We really should start packing. And a warning, just in case someone is watching. Everyone other than Amy try and not pack in front of the window,” He looked at her. “Amy, he is expecting you to be packing, so just go about it as normal.”
“Before we go I have to tell you one more thing…” Amy stood up from Blaze’s lap and stood up in front of the others.
Blaze and Garrek both frowned. ‘Why did she move?’ Blaze linked with Garrek.
‘Maybe, she has changed her mind,’ Garrek whined.
“What is it, Angel?” Ross asked his daughter.
“I only noticed a few days ago, but I think Liam has taken the room opposite mine in his house,” She paused and noticed the tense looks.
“I was just laid on my bed playing music and reading when I noticed movement out of the corner of my eye.
I looked to my right and he was stood in the window opposite mine. He made no move just stood smirking at me and ever since then he seems to be there all of the time.” She looked down sad. “Is that why your curtains are always closed when I go in your room?” Her mother asked.
She nodded sadly.
“Why didn’t you tell us before?” Garrek asked standing up as did Blaze.
“I was ashamed. I thought because I didn’t tell you at the start you would think that maybe I liked it or maybe hate me.”
“What kind of logic is that?” Blaze stood up too.
“I’m sorry,” She mumbled.
“Is there anything else you didn’t tell us?”
She shook her head, “No.”
“Good,” Garrek walked in front of her and wrapped his arms around her waist.
“None of us are mad at you.” He kissed her cheek.
Their parents left the room without a word, to start packing and also to give the three a bit of privacy.
Blaze walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her so she was being hugged from both sides. “But you must not keep anything else from us, otherwise we will have to punish you,” His husky voice brushed her ear.
“Punish?” She stuttered.
“What kind of punishment?” She asked scared.
“Don’t be scared,” Garrek nuzzled his face in her neck.
“There is no need to be scared. Just don’t keep things from us again,” Blaze smirked evilly.
He kissed his mark on her neck. “Come on now. Pack your things up,” He pulled away and slapped her backside.
She gasped. “I don’t like you anymore, you are mean… I’m going to pack.” She got out of Garrek’s arms and into her room.
Noticing her curtains were open, probably by her mother in the morning which was becoming habit.
She sighed but left them open, so Liam could see her packing.
Meanwhile downstairs Garrek was worrying about Amy. “She said she doesn’t like us,” He said worried.
“She said it to me. Don’t worry, she didn’t mean it. Pack your stuff and we’ll punish her later,” Blaze smirked.
“Are you sure? Do we have to punish her? I hate hurting her,” Garrek said sadly.
“Garrek,” Blaze wrapped his arms around his brother. “I promise that we won’t hurt her. Just tease her for a while. I would never hurt her ever. Maybe spank her a bit, but not hurt.”
He smirked and placed his hand behind Garrek’s head. “Now, get your stuff packed. I want to do the punishment before we leave.” Then placed a long lingering kiss on his lips.
“Now is one. Be ready and packed by three. Now go,” He pushed him towards the stairs.
Liam
With his mate finally gone, Liam was finally free to take the mate of his choice.
And after finding out she had shifted it only made him more sure that his choice was right.
After speaking to her parents and telling them the news he left them a day to let her pack and for the news to sink in.

“I just thought you would want to know,” He added.
Tim was the only one other than the two families to know about the mating.
Liam had Tim to keep an eye on them.
“Thank you for letting me know,” Liam said and then without another word headed to his favorite room to watch the recent footage not worried at all about what Tim had just told him.

After Garrek and Blaze both finished packing they headed to Amy’s room.
She was laid on her bed sleeping, her cases already packed and piled in the corner.
