Chapter 8

After convincing her Yun was safe and safe with their parents, they arrive at the house which they would live in with their family, including their Uncle James.

There was three large houses around their Uncle’s. The three houses were for pack and there was several smaller houses about the area with members who wanted to be on the pack but live by their self.

In their Uncle’s house lived James, his mate, his beta and his mate and now Amy, Garrek, Blaze and their parents.

James and Paula’s parents were both still alive and lived in one of the smaller houses by themselves.

Blaze made sure to explain all this on the drive in, up the long driveway leading to the house. Amy had met her mother’s side of the family before but not since she was much younger.

“Remember, angel, we are here with you. No need to be nervous,” Blaze told her feeling her nerves through the link.

“They are family,” Garrek added reassuringly.

“And they know about us?” She asked.

“They know me and Garrek have mated and that you are our other mate, yes. But we have not told them we have fully mated yet,” Blaze told her.

“That is unless Mum and Dad have told them,” He soon added.

Amy looked out of the window to see a large Victorian house with other smaller but still large houses around it.

“Is it the house?” She gasped.

Garrek looked out and nodded, “Yep, angel. That’s our new house,” He sat with his arm around her.

“It’s so beautiful and big,” She said in awe as they pulled up outside of the house.

“Ready, angel?” Blaze asked pulling out the keys and turning to his mates.

She saw a man and woman exit the building. “Not really. But have I got a choice,” She mumbled in reply.

“Not in this matter. No.” Blaze and Garrek chuckle.

Then they both exit the car, with Garrek bringing Amy out with him.

“Hello guys.” Both of the people came up to them.

“Amy,” The man she hadn’t seen in about six years came up to her, picked her up and gave her a hug.

“I haven’t seen you since you were ten,” He grinned pulling back, but still holding her.

“You remember me right? Uncle James?” He asked her.

“Yes, I remember you,” She looked down shyly.

“Sorry. She is just a little nervous,” Garrek told their Uncle.

“It’s understandable” The woman who was with James walked forwards and embraced the boys and then picked Amy from James.

“And I am James’s wife, Bianca. Just to remind you,” She said placed a kiss on her forehead, pulled back from the hug and gave the teen girl a playful wink.

“You have grown into such a beautiful woman,” She said and James agreed.

Amy blushed, “Thank you. You are too,” She replied shyly.

“So I’m guessing you have completed mating and told her about us?” James asked already knowing the answer.

“Yes. But only today,” Blaze answered.

“Has she shifted yet?” Bianca asked them excited.

Garrek nodded, “Yep. She shifted pretty fast.”

“That’s good then.” They looked at Amy and smiled.

“Let’s go inside and get you fed,” Her Aunt took her hand and led her inside, leaving her mates behind talking to James.

“Don’t worry about them. They will join us in a couple of minutes. They are just catching him up on what happened today and why you had to come so suddenly…” She paused.

“Not that we didn’t want you here. I am happy… Excited to finally have you here. We have wanted you here for years.” She grinned like a teenage girl. “We will have so much fun.”

Amy smiled back and nodded before looking around the room they were walking through.

“Where is Mum and Dad?” She asked worried because she was told they were here already.

“Don’t worry. They are just resting. They are a bit tired after the drive and the separation from the pack,” Bianca explained.

“Oh yeah. I forgot. Blaze and Gar told me about it,” She smiled remembering her mates and looked behind her.

Bianca giggled. “Don’t worry, they will be in soon,” She said leading her into the kitchen.

“So any preferences. I know the boys eat anything, but what about you?”

“I’m okay with pretty much everything too. Can I have a drink?”

“Yes. Coke alright or you want juice or something?”

“No, Coke is great. Thank you,” She smiled and took the can.

Amy began wandering around the kitchen whilst drinking her can, then stopped and started looking out of the back door into the garden.

“Who is that?” She asked pointing to a dark grey wolf laid on the grass watching the woods, with its head on its paws.

Bianca walked over and frowned, “That’s Lucas. He is the packs Beta.”

“What’s wrong with him?”

The older woman was surprised that Amy, a new shifted wolf could tell there was a problem with him.

“His mate went missing a few months ago. We have tried to find and track her but nothing,” She answered with tears in her eyes.

“She was a good woman. She wouldn’t of just left, but we can’t link with her,” She shook her hand. “Let’s not think about that now. Now is a good time. Our family is back together and I have a girl to spoil,” The woman gave Amy a one arm hug and returned to preparing food.

“Is spaghetti alright?”

“That’s perfect, please,” Amy answered not looking away from the back door.

Without her Aunt noticing she opened the back door and walked out into the dimly lit yard.

She didn’t know why but she felt drawn to the man wolf. Not like she had to her mates, a different type of pull.

“Hello Lucas. I am Amy. James’s Niece,” She said stopping and kneeling down in front of the wolf.

Why wasn’t she scared? she kept asking herself, but she had no answers.

The wolf raised his head and looked at the teenage girl.

She reached out her hand and began stroke his head.

“It’s okay. We will help you,” Her voice came out sounding as if two people were speaking at once.

Amy didn’t seem surprised but Lucas did.

“Amy…” Bianca’s voice came echoing from the kitchen.

She noticed the open door and walked outside to see Amy sat with their Beta.

“What are you doing out here?” She asked walking over to the pair.

Amy looked up at her. She gasped, Amy’s eyes were no longer her normal grey colour.

Now they were bright green with her normal grey colour circled around the Irises.

“Amy?” She asked.

“You will come,” Amy said in the same voice after turning back to Lucas.

She stood up and Lucas did the same.

‘Backyard now!’ Bianca link with her husband.

He and the two boys arrived just in time to see Amy disappear into the woods with Lucas.

Amy stripped of his dress with her back to Lucas only and quickly shifted into her wolf.

“What is she doing?” Blaze growled chasing after the pair, with Garrek and James in toe all shifting into their wolves. Leaving a still stunned Bianca behind.

Lucas didn’t know why he was following this strange she-wolf, he just knew he had too.

The three behind lost sight of the pair because of their speed and ended up having to follow her scent.

‘How is she so fast?’ James asked the pair in awe.

‘She has shared consciousness,’ Garrek answered still running.

‘We’ll speak about this later,’ James linked back slightly stunned, but somehow still running.

They caught up with the pair after passing out of their territory into Human populated lands, just in time to see Amy back in Human form and pull on her dress.

Blaze and Garrek both growled, ‘She was naked in front of another man,’ Gaining the girls attention.

She smiled and spoke in her duo voice, “We’ll speak later,” She turned to Lucas. “You must shift,” She ordered.

‘How is she sharing consciousness in Human form?’ Garrek thought through the link.

Even wolves who share consciousness wasn’t known to share when the host was in Human, only wolf form.

‘Good question,’ Blaze said back not once looking away from their mate.

Lucas looked at the girl as if answering her silently. She disappeared, worrying all the men but Lucas. Only to return two minutes later with an arm full of clothes.

“Now shift,” She ordered still with Ash sharing her body.

‘Don’t Worry. I got you three some too,’ She linked to her mates.

All the men shifted and grabbed a shirt and shorts.

Garrek and Blaze were pleased to see their mates eyes never once strayed to James or Lucas.

“Where did you get these?” Garrek asked amused.

She just smirked, “We must go,” She turned and began exiting the woods.

“Go where?” He asked.

No answer.

“Do you know?” James asked Lucas who was in Human form for the first time in more than a month.

“No idea. I just know I have to follow,” He answered not once looking back.

They soon entered a car park and made their way to a building.

“A Human hospital?” James asked “Why here Amy?”

“It is where we should be,” Is all she said.

‘Should we stop her?’ Garrek asked James and Blaze.

‘No, let’s just go along and we can stop her if needed later,’ James answered him.

All five were barefoot as they walked into the hospital. They got a few funny looks, but no one said anything to the large men.

Without a word, Amy and Ash – her wolf – led them through the hospital all the way to the coma ward.

“Sorry, Miss…” The nurse began but stopped, her eyes glazed over and she returned to behind the desk.

“Follow,” Duo Amy told the shocked men as they watched the nurse in a trance. Well, all but one.

Lucas walked almost in-sync with her.

Garrek being as he is decided it was a good time to walk beside he and talk to her. “You know, it’s pretty hot…”

He whimpered and fell back with the other two who were both laughing at his fail.

“Good job,” Blaze smirked.

She ignored him and turned to a side room.

’85,’ The number read next to the door and the board beneath that, ‘Jane Doe 359.’

She leaned into Lucas and whispered something only he could hear. A moment later he disappeared into the room.

“What did you say to him?” Blaze asked her.

She turned to him and smiled her eyes now back to normal.

“Secret… But you can go and see if you want,” She said in her normal single voice.

“Amy, you are back!” Garrek exclaimed and threw his around her.

She whacked his hand away. “I never went anywhere. I was always here,” She said then walked into the room leaving him behind.

His wolf whined and they followed in toe like a puppy dog with his head down.

“I have never seen him like that before,” James commented still surprise at his niece and how she affects her mates.

“Yes. He’s been like that most of the day,” Blaze answered.

“Really?”

“Yep. But she is only playing with him,” He walked in to join his mates and was shocked by what he saw.

“Kurczak?” He said shocked. Both men wearing the same expression.

“How?” James asked wide eyed.

Garrek picked Amy up and put her on his lap. “Because she is special,” He grinned playing with her loose hairs.

Blaze grinned and rolled his eyes, “I know, but really?”

Amy shrugged. “Ash and I wanted to go outside to speak with him because he was sad. I started stroking his head and it just came to us. Then Ash helped me track and we ended up here,” She said casually.

James eyes glazed over for a moment before returning to now.

“I am having a pack doctor sent here and if it is safe we will move her back home,” He told the group.

“And tomorrow we will look into what happened with Amy and her wolf. And how they were able to share Human form.”

“I know. I thought it said it only worked in wolf?” Blaze said to him.

“Same with me. But either way we are grateful for finding our Beta female,” James walked over to where his niece and nephew was sat and kissed her forehead.

“Yes, thank you,” Lucas spoke to her for the first time. “Now we have found her we can fix her… I hope,” He added the last part quietly.

“She will be fine when the doctor comes and takes her off the medicine which is keeping her asleep,” Amy began to tell him. “It is keeping her wolf asleep too and stopping her from healing properly,” She said with a yawn.

“That’s what Ash told me,” She told them with a shrug before they could ask her.

“I’m tired, Gar,” She laid her head on his chest.

“I’ll take you home,” He said picking her up bridal style.

“You go with them, Blaze and tell Bianca what happened. I’ll be back in a while. I want to wait for the pack doctor first,” James told him.

Lucas was too happy to be with his mate again to even notice half of what was going on.

“See you later, Uncle James,” Amy said leisurely laying in Garrek arms.

James smirked at them. “See you, my angel. We speak properly tomorrow and you can all finish off telling me what happened.”

“Will do. Bye.”

“You never did answer the question.”

Both men held back a smirk. “And what was that?” They reached the woods and started walking slowly back towards their Uncle’s land.

Blaze looked at his brother. “What?” He answered innocently.

She give him a flat look, Garrek sighed defended, “Fine.” And she looked to Blaze. “Don’t ask.”

He raised his eyebrow and nodded, “Okay. But back to these…”

“The hospital has a clothing charity bin. It was full and bags of clothes lying at the side.”

They were still walking through the woods. “How did you know about that?”

She shrugged and sank back into her mates arms, resting her head against his shoulder.

“Most hospitals have them. I was just lucky.”

“What would you have done if it wasn’t there?” He questions.
