It was already half past and she still hadn’t shown. She sighed. Annie is a rock star. Why would she meet her when she had models and actresses to party with?
Stepping into the elevator, the doors were just closing when a hand stopped them.
The lift attendant opened the doors to reveal a slightly red faced Annie, though her face was obscured slightly by some large sunglasses.
“Sorry, she’s in the wrong lift.”
Not giving her a chance to react, she took Juliet’s hand and dragged her out and into a second lift, swiping a key card to get them to the presidential suite.

A moment later the lift opened to a short corridor with one door at the end.
“This is us,” Annie said taking her hand and leading her to the door, swiping the card and opening it.
Inside looked more like a luxurious apartment than a suite.
“Get comfortable. I’ll run us a bath and pour us some drinks.”
“A bath? I am clean, you know?” Juliet said pulling off the heels which were making her feet ache.
“I know, fairy,” Annie laughed.

She probably wasn’t worried about Juliet saying anything since she had already signed a nondisclosure agreement when she first arrived in New York.

“She does. She is amazing. I don’t know where I’d be without her,” She replied with a smile.
“What about you? Do you have any siblings?”
“I have a fourteen year old brother and twenty-one year old sister. Both are great.”
“Does your sister look like you?”
She felt jealous again but continued to not show it. “No. My brother and I look like my mum. She looks like my dad. She is about your height with long dark red hair. She is really beautiful.”
“Does she like girls too?”
“No, she has a new boyfriend every week.”
“Shame.” Juliet dipped her head back into the water as though wetting her hair. She didn’t want Annie to know how upset she was.
Watching, she waited until they were both washed before moving closer and kissing her.
